Jimmy Fallon hosted a fun filled evening last night at the 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards. Jimmy did a great job keeping everyone laughing.

The new comedy “Modern Family” won the the Emmy for the Outstanding Comedy Series. The sitcom has been a fan favorite on the ABC network. While FOX’s “Glee” won for Outstanding Directing for a Comedy Series.

But the surprise big winner last night was the HBO made for TV movie “Temple Grandin”. It’s a biography about an animal scientist who is autistic, and it won seven awards, including the Emmy for the Outstanding Made For Television Movie. Claire Danes, who portrayed the scientist, Temple Grandin, also won for the Outstanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries or Movie. Temple Grandin, herself, was in the audience at the awards ceremony and appeared onstage next to the producer who accepted the Emmy on behalf on the film.  Note to self – I’d like to see this movie.
